With deep sadness, a hole in our hearts, but with trust in our Lord, the family of Vikki Lynn Taylor announces her passing on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 5:14 PM. She took her final breath surrounded by those she held closest right by her side. Vikki was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She later moved to Ludowici, Georgia to fulfill her greatest joy: being a daily part of her daughter and grandbabies' lives. Vikki was a woman who was truly beautiful inside and out. Feisty, independent, and fiercely devoted to her values, she was the definition of a true dog lover. Vikki possessed a legendary sense of humor and a quick wit that could bring on the healing kind of belly-hurting laughter. Above all, Vikki took her roles as Mama and Gigi very seriously. She was a safe place, a therapist, and a best friend to her daughter, and she showered that same boundless love—and more—upon her precious grandbabies. No matter what she was going through, she would drop everything the moment her family needed her. Vikki lived her life with an unwavering faith. She always told those she loved that she was not afraid of death because she knew she was going to meet the Lord. Her family takes comfort in knowing that when she met Him in all His glory, she was instantly reunited with all of her pups that crossed the rainbow bridge running back to her, and her beloved Papa waiting to hug her neck. She is finally free of pain, at peace, and keeping a close eye on her precious babies still here on Earth. She is survived by her devoted and beloved daughter, Sterling “Alanna” Breazeale; her mother, Emilie Brown; her cherished granddaughter, Emberlei Taylor; and her adored grandson, ... She was preceded in death by her father, William Adams; her Papa, Sterling Sloan; her uncle, Sterling Sloan; her aunt, Catherine Ruhlman; and her many beloved dogs. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made directly to Serenity Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Hinesville, Georgia, to assist the family with cremation expenses.
