Obituary

Lisa cherished her Mississippi roots, drawing strength and enduring values from her upbringing.

With profound sorrow and hearts full of fond remembrance, we announce the passing of Lisa Little, who left us on June 22, 2026, at St. Joseph's Candler, just a week before her 57th birthday. Born on June 29, 1969, in Macon, Mississippi, Lisa's journey through life was marked by compassion, resilience, and a gentle strength that inspired all who knew her.

Lisa cherished her Mississippi roots, drawing strength and enduring values from her upbringing. She brought warmth and kindness into every room she entered, and her laughter was a balm to those close to her. Lisa’s legacy is woven into the fabric of her family and friends, whose lives have been profoundly shaped by her presence.

She is deeply mourned by her beloved surviving family: her cherished child, Naveen Daniels, who will always carry the light of Lisa’s love. Also mourning her loss are Jasper Little and Virginia Little, whose bonds with Lisa brought strength and unity to their family. Her niece, Sabrina Harris, also survives her, holding dear the beautiful memories that Lisa leaves behind.

Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, Rufus Little and Lola Little, as well as her siblings, Brenda Harris-Jones, Rose Harris, Bennie Little, and Terrell Lewis. Each of them contributed to the tapestry of Lisa’s life, and together they share an unbreakable bond that time nor separation can diminish.

She brought warmth and kindness into every room she entered, and her laughter was a balm to those close to her.

Family was Lisa’s anchor and her heart’s deepest devotion. As a mother, aunt, sibling, and child, she filled her roles with unwavering love and steadfast guidance. Every lesson and every embrace she gifted her loved ones will echo across future generations.

The profound loss felt in Lisa’s absence is accompanied by gratitude for the time shared and the moments, large and small, that define a life beautifully lived. Her legacy endures in the stories told through laughter and tears, in memories that comfort during sorrow, and in the love that survives every goodbye.

Though Lisa has departed this world, the spirit and kindness she showed will live on in all who were enriched by her presence. She will be dearly missed, forever remembered, and eternally loved.
